Dear Galway Community:
The Galway Lions are proud of our club’s 25 years of sponsoring Rosie’s Walk for Diabetes. In the future, we will be supporting the effort to curb the effects of diabetes in other ways. We thank the Eaton family and give honor to Rosie Eaton’s memory which has resulted in the donation of hundreds of thousands of dollars to the Diabetes cause.
We have already had preliminary discussions about how the Galway Lions may continue to assist society’s efforts to help folks control or not suffer from diabetes and we pledge to do so.
We are conducting our 25th Rosie’s Walk for Diabetes on Saturday, September 14, 2024, and this will be our “Goodbye Event”. We ask that you consider contributing to our effort by walking with us and/or being a donor or a friend who collects donations from others. We have included a donor/pledge form that you can use to collect donations. We are also offering “sponsorships” (see sponsor form) which advertises the name of our sponsors:
- $500 Platinum sponsor: Your name at the very top of the back of the tee shirt.
- $250 Gold Sponsor: Your name or logo will be printed on the back of the shirt.
- $125 Silver Sponsor: Your name on signage at two locations on the day of the event.
